Just Imagine…
Just imagine what could be done on a local, or state, level if the recent funds for the war in Iraq were actually spent on United States Citizens. If these funds were used for education, mental health services or services for the poor or homeless significant impacts could be made in each of these areas. Just image what could be done with $1.4B for every state that could be used to turn schools around that are failing, or (now this is revolutionary) to fully fund the initiatives that have been passed like No Child Left Behind.
